Love

Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart. – 1 Peter 1:22

Truth

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” – John 14:6

Prayer

And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer.” – Matthew 21:13

Power

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. – John 14:12

Mission

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature.” – Mark 16:15

Statement of Faith

We believe:

  1. In the one true God, revealed in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  2. In the divinity of Jesus Christ, Who as eternal God came to earth, taking on flesh, and lived among His creation.
  3. Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary; lived, died, was buried, rose from the dead after three days and has ascended into heaven where He now sits at the right hand of the Father.
  4. God the Father sent Jesus to the world because He loves us and desires that all should be saved from their sin.
  5. As a result of Jesus’ death and resurrection on the cross, we are freely able to have an eternal relationship with the Father. Jesus Christ is the one and only way to the Father.
  6. In the fall and sinfulness of man and that the only way to be cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the redeeming blood of Christ.
  7. The Bible is the inspired and only infallible Word of God, and is essential for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, whose integrity has been preserved throughout all generations.
  8. In the baptism of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. The Holy Spirit in a person’s life is evidenced by changes in his life, including a renewed love for God and people, a commitment to the scriptures and holy living. The spirit filled believer has the capability of speaking with new tongues whether or not he or she chooses to exercise this gifting.
  9. Expressions of all the gifts of the Spirit are able to be given to believers today.
  10. The Church of Jesus Christ is the universal, spiritual body of believers from every tribe, tongue and nation, and is indwelt by God through the Holy Spirit and divinely empowered to fulfill ministry and the Great Commission on earth.
  11. Healing and miracles are available through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
  12. In the resurrection and eternal judgment of believers and the lost, and the bodily return of Jesus Christ.
